I had no problem @ all installing this memory in my Dell OptiPlex GX 520. Dell told me that 4gb of memory may not read the entire 4gb, but when I booted the computer the bios showed the full 4gb. Under Windows XP system it shows 3.49gb and Dell gives a complete review as to why. It has only been in a few days. So far it is working great!
