These are typical AA alkaline batteries, no better no worse -- but at a fraction of the cost. Since they use the same formula as any other alkaline battery, they'll last just as long. To ijob, who complained that the batteries only lasted an hour in his/her camera: Your one star review is unfair because any other alkaline battery would do just as poorly. Alkaline batteries don't do well in high drain devices like digital cameras. They're made for low drain devices like clocks, smoke detectors and flashlights. Cameras perform better with rechargeable NiMH or LiOn (lithium ion) batteries, or the very expensive Lithium batteries.

These batteries were about as good as I expected - comparable to other value-priced batteries. Obviously, you shouldn't rely on these to power a camera or anything with high demands for power. A pair of these AAs lasted as long in my MP3 player as Rayovac brand batteries I got at a neighborhood store, for a LOT less. These have also been powering my primary LED flashlight for weeks. I would recommend them for anyone who needs cheap general-purpose batteries.

I bought these from you last time they were on sale. They don't last but an hour of use in a digital camera. Then they are spent. Waste of money.
