I got this remote with a package deal from tigerdirect.com. I was looking for an excuse to purchase one to try out and glad it finally came up. This remote is worth the money. I am able to control all of my home entertainment systems (JVC DVD player and surround, Cox Cable Box, Xbox 360, and Toshiba TV). It gives you the feature to create your own buttons and even make a sequence of button presses into one. Which is what i did for on demand with cox. if you know about it. But hey great remote great price!!

The Harmony Remotes cannot be beat. That said I can't justify $200-$500 for a remote but this one is well worth the money. 1-click and I can switch from watching TV to watching a DVD or Listening to music. It takes some getting used to as devices need to be in a certain state to start or the remote can get confused, however the help is good and if you always leave things in a good state it's flawless. Setup is a breeze and it's easy on batteries. Couldn't be happier.

Bought this when it came out. Does not have features that it needs to encompass all setups. Some things are left out that should be included. It does program what features it does contain easily, however.

I got this remote at a great price when they were having a sale, it set itself up without any problems. As long as you know how to work your own equipment you should be fine. I have a LG Plasma,Panasonic DVD player,XBOX 360,Sony A/V receiver and a Motorola digital cable box and they all work perfectly with this remote..the one touch activities are great,I was sick of picking up 4 remotes just to watch a movie. Get this.

At first I was very skeptical, but am I glad I stuck it out. Logitech seemed to have every device except for the old Sanyo VCR, and even at that it managed to identify an alternative with a few button presses. The initial 'activities' were fairly asinine (that struck me as a funny thing to call vegging out on the couch, your 'activities', but anyway).
Most of the database settings were different in some way than the original remotes, so don't throw out your remotes yet. It took me awhile to set it up, the menus are a little hard to manage because they tried to put in some artificial intelligence (what is the problem you are having.. is the TV turned on? Is the stereo turned on? Is the DVD turned on? Is the TV tuned to the right input? Is it now? Is it now? Did that fix it? etc)
Buttons are a little small, also they are audibly clicky which is not to everyone's taste. Luckily you can edit or override everything & make it work properly. Backing up the config online is a super idea!
