| The software interface is not bad but the quality of the printing is not very good. I almost feel that making it look like the machine prints high quality is a gross misrepresentation. |

| This is much better than Epson Photo R220, I have been using it but causing problems with CD/DVD feed tray, every time I print it it kept missfeed or eject it had to do it several times before finally printed. Dymo DiscPainter is much much better printed quickly and faster. Print quality is best. Surprised to see the disc spinning while printing. The software is also easy to use, its got everything you need for CD/DVD printing! |

| The only thing I can really say is that the DiscPainter has really worked well out for my wedding photography business. I use it to make DVDs that I sell to clients. To them it is the most important day of their lives. If my DVDs don't look perfect and professional the client will be very upset. I would recommend the DiscPainter for anyone who has to have commercial quality discs but at a reasonable price. |

| First color disc printer I've tried, had a Casio CW-75 Title Printer. Very nice. Software has various templates, or you can make your own layout. Very simple to use. Uses only 1 ink cartridge, which will be interesting when one color is gone.. |

| The Dymo DiscPainter is truly a step up from the frustrating old methods to label CDs and DVDs. There are no feed trays to fail like with those document printers disguised as disc printers. Just pop a printable disc into the DiscPainter, wait 60 seconds and a full color labeled disc is done.
The software is very intuitive and easy to use. Adding color text is also fast and simple to do. It has a collage tool that allows several photos to be merged for a cool labeling effect. One feature that I really like is that even though there are default settings (and these will be perfect for most users), the unit allows all settings to be tweaked if desired. This is especially useful if one wants a unique artistic effect. The DiscPainter allows easy use of Photoshop designed labels and most other image editing software created labels.
The bottom line is that the DiscPainter makes clean, crisp, full color labels fast. IMHO it is clearly the best disc labeling system available. |
